About

My name is Michael Bevel, and I am a reader. I live, laugh, and love in Rockville, Maryland. This site collects my thoughts and writings about reading, writing, and anything else that captures my Beginner’s Mind. Specifically, at the moment, you will find I am most active in reading the Histories by Herodotus. Expect Reader Commentaries soon. Content is constantly being developed and published here; check back if you haven’t heard from me in an email in a while.
